Thanks for the info. I too suffer from smaller feet and my current board (trice) feels too wide for me. Just ordered my goat. :) Interestingly, the NS heritage was my other choice.

The basic skidded turn is pretty much the same as your basic linked turn except that now the rider is typically more comfortable with speed and so the baord skids more through the turn. You will still shift your weight onto the front foot and torsionally twist the board to engage the sidecut to initiate the turn. As you progress into the turn, the rear foot will foolow through and pressure the same edge as the front foot, but just a little bit later. At the bottom of the turn through completion, the rider should be solidly riding on edge. The skid occurrs from the down hill momentum.

Feel free to ask any questions about specifics and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Scott, really appreciate your videos, it really helped me rapidly learn how to make linked turns.

I've been looking on youtube on your other instructions, and I was hoping you'd be able to provide some explanation on skidded turns. According to a snowboarding forum, after linked turns, is skidded turns in development, and I'm not sure what the proper steps for skidded turns are. I saw your youtube video on dynamic skidded turns, but it seems to lack detailed step by step directions on how to you initiate with your foot etc. any details would be appreciated
